Mashable came out with an excellent resource for their Career Toolbox: 100+ resources to find a job. They break out resources into categories. Particularly useful is the General Tools at the bottom of the list that will help you research companies using things like LinkedIn and Salary.com. But there are several others that I didn't know about as well and definitely worth checking out. So we thought we'd create our own Career Toolbox, additions if you will, to give you a run down of what we've got to offer and who we'd benefit. You can browse by State, City, Zip Code or Keyword. You can watch videos and read our blog. EmploymentGuide.com also hosts hundreds of job fairs every year and we offer an online application that lets you apply to multiple jobs at once. This site is also supplimented by a weekly print publication as well.
Post-Retirement Employment
WiserWorker.com - WiserWorker.com is really for the 40+ crowd. Unfortunately retirement is being pushed back further and further thanks partially to the economic state. Baby Boomers you can feel right at home here and find a variety of jobs that are meant for your eyes. For those so inclined we also have a blog targeted for you as well that deals with the issues that you are going through.
Health Care and Medical Jobs
HealthCareerWeb.com - Social networking for medical professionals. You've got forums, event calendars, profiles , videos and job listings to peruse and use to advance your career. This is great if you want to learn more about how to get in a nursing school or want the low down on medical associations that you can join, HealthCareerWeb can help.
Driver and Transportation Jobs
CareersinGear.com - If you're looking for work on the road this site will provide you with the resources you need. Of course, there are job listings, regional job fairs, a freight finder and weather. Maybe you're thinking about a career change and still need your CDL, we also have school listings as well. This site is also supplimented by a quarterly publication that you can find throughout the Southeast at major truck stops like Pilots or Loves Travel Centers.
