5 Things to Keep You Going During Your Job Search

Support: A job search can be stressful and full of ups and downs, make sure you have family and or friends that will support you. When searching for a job you really put yourself out there and there is usually rejection involved. Make sure you have the support of your friends and family to pick you up and encourage you to keep going and apply to the next job!

Tools: Make sure you have the correct tools, this includes a resume. If you don’t have a resume, start one now! This is essential to landing a job!

Rest: Take a day off from the hunt, job searching can be mentally and physically exhausting. Give yourself the weekend off.

PMA: Positive Mental Attitude, a positive attitude can make a huge difference once you land that phone or in person interview. Make sure you are conscious of your attitude because it will come across during the interview.

Confidence: If you need to have a pep talk with yourself before you apply to jobs or go on interviews. Don’t be cocky but be sure of yourself and who you are and your abilities.
